Dr. Diana Almy is a board certified orthodontist serving the communities of the greater Fredericksburg area for over 15 years. A Fredericksburg area native, Dr. Almy was excited to return home after dental school to open Fredericksburg Orthodontics and Invisalign Center in 2005.
Dr. Almy graduated magna cum laude from Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry (finishing first in her class). She received her Master of Science from VCU School of Dentistry and a Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Almy loves being able to blend the art and science of dentistry with the analytical thought behind planning the treatment of an orthodontic case. It brings her great satisfaction to envision how a case will finish and then use creativity to tweak a tooth position and analytics to accomplish the movement. Applying these principles for the benefit of her teen patients, thereby helping them feel better about themselves, is especially rewarding for Dr. Almy. She enjoys giving adults the smiles of their dreams, especially when it makes a positive health impact.
