Dr. Diana Almy

Dr. Diana Almy is a board-certified orthodontist serving the communities of the greater Fredericksburg area. A Fredericksburg area native, Dr. Almy was excited to return home after dental school to open Fredericksburg Orthodontics & Invisalign Center in 2005.

Dr. Almy loves being able to blend the art and science of dentistry with the analytical thought behind planning the treatment of an orthodontic case. It brings her great satisfaction to envision how a case will finish and then use creativity to tweak a tooth position and analytics to accomplish the movement.

“My favorite part of being an orthodontist is meeting new people every day and getting to know them during treatment. Seeing teens grow into adults and adults become more confident is very exciting. Watching their smiles develop and lighting up their faces is what drives me every day to provide excellent care to all my patients. Creating beautiful smiles with maximally functional occlusion is my passion. Seeing the life-changing effects of an amazing smile or the physical changes that a better bite can bring are what brings energy to me and the team. Above all, though, watching our patients grow and forming relationships with them is the most satisfying part of my job. Each day is a blessing and a joy in making these connections and transformations!” – Dr. Almy

Outside of the office:

• Dr. Almy loves spending time with her husband and her four kids
• Watching her kids play sports
• She and her husband have a passion for restoring old houses and have currently restored two historic homes
• Enjoys reading, attempting new recipes for healthy eating and traveling

Dr. Almy is proud to support a variety of schools and organizations within the community. She was recently voted Best Orthodontist in 2023 by FredParent Magazine and was a 2023 Best of the Burg finalist.
