FREDERICKSBURG ORTHODONTICS
COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES

Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality orthodontic care in a safe and healthy environment while following all governor-mandated orders concerning COVID-19 and the pandemic.

In order to maintain the health and safety of our patients and team, please read through the following measures outlined below that we are taking in our offices for all appointments.

COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES

OFFICE PROTOCOLS

To minimize the number of people entering our office and maintaining social distancing protocols, we respectfully request that only the scheduled patient enters the office for their appointment. Patients are required to wear a mask to enter our building.

Any family members who do not have scheduled appointments come with you will need to wait in your vehicle during the appointment rather than our waiting area.

We will conduct a COVID screening and check temperatures upon arrival.

Please note that our brushing station is closed, so brush your teeth at home before your appointment.

OUR NEW WAITING ROOM IS YOUR VEHICLE

In an effort to keep our phone lines open for patient care please do not call upon arrival.  We ask that you come in to our office to check-in.  Upon check-in you will answer a few COVID related questions and have a temperature check.  Then you will be handed a pager and return to your vehicle until the time of your appointment – we will page you when it is time to come in.

It is also important that patients do not arrive late to their appointments to avoid any backup of patients in the office. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for another time or date.

PRE-SCREENING HEALTH QUESTIONS

We kindly request that you call to reschedule your appointment if:

1. You are experiencing any of the following symptoms: respiratory symptoms (runny nose or congestion), fever, cough, sore throat, body aches or shortness of breath. Also, please make us aware if you have had contact with anyone who is/has been ill with any of these symptoms.

2. If within the past two weeks, you or someone you have been in contact with, have recently traveled from a CDC designated high-risk area, been on a cruise, or have come in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Thank you for understanding and adhering to these enhanced health and safety protocols. As always, our team will continue to follow the level of universal infection control precautions per OSHA and CDC guidelines. It is our priority that our practice remains a very safe space to continue to administer orthodontic care.

Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding the above information.
